You need to know about these Mascara

Mascara – is a must for all kinds of makeup. It makes your eyelashes appearing longer and thicker, which makes your eyes look charming like a doll’s eyes (true story :) The trick is to find a good one for your eye type and your eyelashes’ hair. And I would like to help you sharing what I tried, and liked it or not.

1.Rimmel -Volume Flash – Scandal eyes (Price $10.99 on Amazon)

I bought this mascara for the waterproof propriety but in fact it’s not so waterproof and dries my eyelashes while sticking them. So I am not recommending it!rimel 5

2.Astor Big & Beautiful Boom Waterproof Mascara (Price 9.95 euro on remakeup.com)rimel 6

This is the second one bought for the same need and this one is just a bit better that the Rimmel one. Not extraordinary, but ok…So if you have a waterproof one to recommend I would gladly love to hear from you in a comment below.rimel 7

3.Seventeen The Stylist Mascara –electric Blue colorrimel

I definitely love this nice electric blue mascara with long wearing and smudge-free. It was the perfect shade I was looking for at that moment (I had a passion for blue color and was looking for it in all my purchases)rimel3

Trick: This is great for red eyes– from a party, or a cold. Just lightens the eyes, being in contrast with the red.

Story – I suffered for about 1 week, a year ago with broken blood vessel and I treated it with Tobradex (Tobramycin and Dexamethasone) and about Visine- didn’t make my eye better. If you want more details just ask, will happily help you with more info. *Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially of other eye problems*

4.Lancôme HYPNÔSE price 27.50 euro in Sephorarimel 9 rimel 10

This one was bought in a kit with an eye makeup remover and an black kohl eye pencil for about 29 euro. Was not cheap mascara but really wanted it as my makeup teacher was really recommending it. I like the way it wraps my lashes one luxurious layer at a time without smearing, smudging or clumping. I recommend it – my second favorite :)

set5.Maybelline New York One by One

I use this mascara for about 3 years every day and still counting. Is the best! Catches, lengthens, coats and de clumps each lash and gives an instant clump free volume. The price is $5.94 on Amazon.rimel 8

Trick : try the brown one- is perfect if you are blonde – day or evening look, but suits very well a brunette too. I love the brown color for daily look.rimel8

6.Benefit – They’re real!rimel 11

Recently bought the travel size just to try it and I found out that in UK is number 1. The price for travel size was 10 euro in Sephora.“ Lengthens, curls, volumizes, lifts & separates”. The” jet black, long-wearing formula won’t smudge or dry out”. And yes, it does what it says but still does it deserves the price? This one costs 24 euro in Sephora, while the Maybeline One by One is just $5.94 on Amazon. rimel12

I would love to hear in a comment below about your most favorite mascara and the worst one you recently tried.

Hugs and Kisses!

I’ve tried the Hypnose mascara and I loved it! I also tried the Benefit They’re real! but I didn’t like it. It gave me very spidery lashes!

    Great post!

I agree with you Georgiana . Benefit does not deserve the price for the quality it offers. Thank you for appreciation!

I wish that I could use any of these, but they make me look like a raccoon after a few hours because of my oily lids

  7. cosmoslyn you can try to use a toner for oily skin, an appropriate face cream – with matte finish and then the mascara. I used to have the transfer between mascara and my eyelids in the summer when I apply the spf face cream-even on my eyelids -which was much more oily and was a factor for the mess. let me know if this helps :)

Lovely post! Funny enough, I’ve nearly tried them all! The brush makes all the difference for me. I need something sturdy with amazing separating power since my lashes are so curly! Looking forward to your future posts!

Stefan Ana  cosmoslyn  Sadly Ana, I have tried that and many more tips (like powdering the lids, don’t apply too much coat etc)
and none of them works for me, because my eyelids are that oily. So far I find the hard to remove fibrous ones work best for me.

  10. cosmoslyn Another trick I learned these days is that you can apply the mascara to the roots of your lashes ,bring it to the middle of the lashes then stop. Do not get to the lash tips.Don’t worry no one will notice that ;)

please let me know if you have positive results with this :)

Stefan Ana  cosmoslyn  now that’s a new tip! I shall try it and see how I manage with that trick ^_^

I love they’re real but agree the price is a little steep so I use Bourjois Clubbing mascara as it gives the same effect for half the price.

Stefan Ana  =( I probably didn’t do it right, but there are still some small spots, but otherwise I don’t go all racoony.
